Gorizia Old Town (Centro storico)

Gorizia's old town is compact but full of details. Narrow alleys lead past palaces with facades that appear Venetian, Habsburg, or sometimes both simultaneously. The main square (Piazza della Vittoria) gives you a good first impression: arcades, cafés, a fountain as a meeting point.
